Primary school in Karakor Sokuralla on the outskirts of Kabala

In summer 2011, the Kreuzgemeinde in Konstanz started building a primary school in Karakor Sokuralla. In the meantime, 250 children are being taught there by trained teachers.

The project is growing!

Almost all school leavers are supported by sponsors to attend secondary school.
the mothers cook a hot lunch for all pupils at noon.
The food for the lunch is partly financed by a micro-credit programme for women in the village.
supported by sponsorships, young people from the village can attend the teachers’ college.
